This was recipe was inspired from our vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains. We stayed two nights at this adorable Inn in the mountains that served the most amazing breakfast. Fluffy Buttermilk Biscuits
Making fluffy homemade biscuits is not as complicated as you think! The key is cold better, cold buttermilk and a sticky dough for them. If it’s not sticky you added too much flour- so add a little bit more buttermilk to get it sticky. If it’s too wet you added too much buttermilk so add a little more flour to get it sticky. These delicious bars were my go to snacks after my run or when I was craving something sweet after lunch. I ate these all the time when I was in training to run the fly pig marathon. It helped me with my sweet tooth after lunch. Also I loved to eat them after my run. It helped me stay full till lunch time. The problem with running is your appetite will really increase.
